Robert Pitkofsky provides estate planning for families, including special needs planning for families that have a member with disabilities or mental health challenges. If necessary, he works with the family to obtain guardianship over a loved-one in need of protection. Robert also counsels companies in the areas of business law, nonprofit law, corporate contracts and transactions. His experience also includes employment law, trademark, copyright and litigation.
Robert also devotes much time to serving his community and is active on many community boards throughout Rockland County. He brings this passion for community and service into play when working with individual clients dealing with challenges, such as planning for a family member with disabilities or mental health challenges, as well as their estate planning.
He served as appellate law clerk to the Honorable Sylvia B. Pressler, the Presiding Judge for Administration for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Rob is admitted to the New York and New Jersey bars. He is also licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
